Anonymous Feedback
Know Your Area is an anonymous feedback platform. When you receive evaluations:
- Evaluators' identities are NEVER revealed to you
- We do not track or store who provided which feedback
- Feedback content is stored, but not linked to evaluator identities
- This anonymity is core to our platform and cannot be reversed
Giving Feedback
When you evaluate others, you agree that:
- Your feedback will remain anonymous
- Feedback should be honest but respectful
- You will not attempt to identify yourself in your feedback
- Abusive, threatening, or illegal content is prohibited
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You May NOT:
- Use the platform to harass, bully, threaten, or harm others
- Post hateful, discriminatory, or illegal content
- Attempt to identify anonymous evaluators
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings
- Use automated tools (bots) to interact with the platform
- Reverse engineer or attempt to hack the platform
- Spam or send unsolicited evaluation requests
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Content Standards
All feedback and content must be:
- Respectful and constructive
- Free of profanity, slurs, or hate speech
- Based on genuine interactions or knowledge
- Not defamatory or maliciously false
6. Intellectual Property
Our Content
All content on Know Your Area (design, text, graphics, logos, code) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
Your Content
When you submit feedback or other content, you:
- Retain ownership of your content
- Grant us a license to use, store, and display your content to operate the platform
- Confirm you have the right to submit the content
7. Subscription and Payments
Free and Paid Plans
Know Your Area offers both free and paid subscription tiers. By subscribing to a paid plan:
- You agree to pay the applicable fees
- Fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis
- You can cancel at any time (no refunds for partial periods)
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice
Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- We reserve the right to offer refunds at our discretion
8. Termination
Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

- Engage in abusive or illegal behavior
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Remain inactive for an extended period
Effect of Termination
- Your profile and personal data will be deleted
- Evaluations you received will be removed
- Evaluations you gave others will remain (anonymously)
- You will lose access to all platform features
9. Disclaimers
Platform "As Is"
Know Your Area is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy or reliability of feedback received
- Results or outcomes from using the platform
- Compatibility with all devices or browsers
User-Generated Content
We are not responsible for:
- The accuracy of feedback provided by other users
- How you interpret or respond to feedback
- Emotional or professional consequences of feedback
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
- We are not liable for user-generated content or third-party actions
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Know Your Area from claims arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Content you submit
